The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the answer key for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 examination shortly. The online application process for the CTET February 2026 exam was conducted from November 27, 2025, to December 18, 2025. The computer-based examination took place on 07 and 08 February 2026. CTET February 2026 Online Application : Eligibility Criteria

Class
Eligibility
Primary Stage (Class I to V)
  • Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% or 45% marks.
  • Applicants who have passed or are appearing in a Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms are eligible.
  • Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree can apply.
  • Applicants holding a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) are eligible.
  • Candidates who have completed a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree can also apply.
  • Those with a 1-year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible to appear for the CTET examination.
Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% or 50% marks.
  • Applicants who have passed or are appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible.
  • Candidates holding a Diploma in Education can apply.
  • Those who have completed or are pursuing B.El.Ed., B.Sc.Ed., or B.A.Ed. are eligible.
  • Applicants with a B.Ed. degree are also eligible to appear for the CTET examination.

  • After clicking the link, candidates will be redirected to the login page.
  • On the login page, enter the required details:
    • Registration Number / Roll Number
    • Password / Date of Birth
    • Captcha Code
  • Click on the “Login” button to proceed.
  • Once the details are submitted successfully, candidates will be able to download their CTET Answer Key 2026.
