UPTET 2026 Online Application Form

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the official notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. The online application process will begin on 27 March 2026, and candidates can submit their application forms until 26 April 2026. The commission has also announced the examination schedule. The UPTET 2026 exam will be conducted on 02, 03, and 04 July 2026. Important Dates

Application Fee

  • The online application process will start from 27 March 2026.
  • The last date to submit the application form is 26 April 2026.
  • The last date to pay the application fee is 26 April 2026.
  • The correction window will remain open until 01 May 2026.
  • The final form submission process is Available Now.
  • The examination will be conducted on 2, 3, & 4 July 2026.
  • The admit card will be released before the examination.
  • The application fee for General, EWS, and OBC candidates is Rs. 1000/- for a single paper.
  • SC and ST candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee.
  • PH candidates are required to pay Rs. 300/- as the examination fee.
  • The fee must be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or other online payment methods only.

UPTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria (Educational Qualification)

Primary Level Teachers (Class 1 to 5)
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by NCTE.
  • Candidates should also have a valid teacher training qualification such as BTC, B.El.Ed, or an equivalent course.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of their degree or training program are also eligible to apply.
  • Generally, candidates must have at least 50% marks in graduation or in the relevant teacher training program.
Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8)
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved categories as per rules) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
  • Candidates should possess a teacher training qualification such as B.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed, or an equivalent course.
  • Final-year students of these training courses are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates with Special Education qualifications from an institute recognized by RCI are also eligible.
  • In some cases, candidates who have 50% marks in Intermediate and have completed a 4-year integrated teacher training program are also eligible to apply.
