The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the official notification inviting online applications for the B.Ed / M.Ed / B.P.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (CECE) for the academic session 2026–28. The entrance examination is conducted for admission into the two-year B.Ed course. The online registration process began on 25 February 2026 and will continue until 25 March 2026. JCECEB Jharkhand B.Ed Admission 2026 : Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD and other reserved categories) in their Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce.
  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
  • For M.Ed. admission, possessing a B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
  • Candidates must select one teaching subject studied in their qualifying degree with at least 50% marks out of 200 marks.
  • There is no restriction on the year of passing. Final-year students are also eligible, provided they meet the required percentage criteria at the time of admission.
