IAF Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027 Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria (Educational Qualification)

For Science Stream

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
  • OR completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with a minimum of 50% marks overall and 50% marks in English in the diploma course.
  • OR passed a 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board, obtaining at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

For Non-Science Stream

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 Intermediate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
  • OR completed a 2-year Vocational Course with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Height Requirement

  • Male Candidates : Minimum 152.5 cms
  • Female Candidates : Minimum 152 cms
  • For North East / Hilly Regions : Minimum 147 cms
  • For Lakshadweep Candidates : Minimum 150 cms

Chest Measurement (For Males)

  • Minimum 77 cms with at least 5 cms chest expansion

Weight Criteria

  • Weight should be proportionate according to height and age.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  • Running Test :
    • Male: 1.6 km within 7 minutes
    • Female: 1.6 km within 8 minutes
    • Push-Ups : 10 repetitions within 1 minute (Male)
    • Sit-Ups :
      • Male: 10 repetitions within 1 minute
      • Female: 10 repetitions within 1 minute 30 seconds
      • Squats :
        • Male: 20 repetitions within 1 minute
